Articles 13 and 122 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003
Privacy Code.

In accordance with and for the effects of the Measure of the Data Protection Supervisor dated 8 May 2014 on the use of cookies, we hereby inform you - with reference to the domain Sottolestelle Distribuzione Ltd, which can be reached via the internet at www.yukybio.com - of the following.

In the IT field, cookies are classified as “technical or sessions”, "persistent" or profiling”, and “third party” cookies.

Cookies - which may be present on your browser in a high number and may sometimes persist for quite some time - are used, for example, to carry out authentication operations, monitor sessions and memorise information on specific configurations of users connecting to the server that hosts the website, etc.. They are strings of text contained in small files which the websites you visit, or those of third parties linked to the same, send to your computer where they are stored, only then to be sent back, to the same websites, at your next visit.

Although they are generally used to assess the use of a website and its efficiency, and to simplify usage and browsing, and they are not associated with personal data, cookies may also be configured to personalise the experience of consulting a website, by associating them with your preferences or your personal information.

As cookies allow for some website features to be used, we suggest that you do not deactivate them. If you block, deactivate or reject cookies, you will not be able to log in to the website www.yukybio.com and some web pages may not be displayed correctly.

Technical or session cookies

Session cookies, stored in the temporary memory and erased when closing the browser, used exclusively to “transmit a communication on an electronic communication network, or, to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service”, allow for the Website to be used efficiently, keeping a track of the viewing of pages of which it consists so as not to request information already acquired and/or released by your browser during the same browsing session.

Those cookies can be further broken down into browsing cookies or session cookies, which guarantee normal consultation and use of the website (allowing you, for example, to make a purchase or to log in to access reserved areas); cookie analytics, assimilated to technical cookies if used directly by the website manager to collect information, in aggregated form, on the number of users and on how they visit the website itself; functionality cookies, which allow you to browse based upon a series of pre-selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to you.

The prior consent of the data subjects is not required in order to install technical or session cookies, subject, on the other hand, to the data controller's obligation to issue, in accordance with Art. 13 of the Privacy Code, this mandatory policy, which the website manager, if it uses only those devices, may issue in the manner that it deems most appropriate.

The technical and session cookies used by Sottolestelle Distribuzione Ltd allow you to avoid having to re-enter the same information several times during your visit, such as your username and password. They also allow us to analyse the use of the services and contents provided so as to optimise the browsing experience and the services offered.

Persistent or profiling cookies

On the other hand, persistent or profiling cookies are used to create profiles relating to you; they are stored on your hard disk and are available when the browser is restarted. They memorise your preferences for the current visit and subsequent visits and they can be used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences manifested by you, registered during the browsing session.

The Community rules and the Italian incorporating regulations state that, if the website manager uses those types of cookies, the data subject must be adequately informed of their use and placed in the condition to express his or her valid informed consent or deny it.

The content of the cited Art. 122 of the Privacy Code applies to that type of cookies, which expressly states that “the storage of information on the computer of a contracting party or of a user or access to information already stored is permitted only on the condition that the contracting party or user has expressed consent after having been informed by the simplified methods indicated in Article 13, paragraph 3”.

Sottolestelle Distribuzione Ltd does not use cookies of this type.

Third party cookies for marketing/retargeting

Third party cookies are used by third party companies and they allow you to view advertising banners relating to pages consulted on our website on other affiliated websites.

Google Analytics (Google)

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected for the purpose of tracking and examining use of this Application, compiling reports and sharing them with the other services developed by Google.

The data collected by the Google Analytics system concern, for example, information on the time of your stay on the Website, your approximate geographic origin, the entry and exit pages, the origin of visitor traffic, etc. Google will use these data to assess usage, to draft reports on the activities of our Website and to provide us with additional services linked to use of the Website and the Internet.

The data collected using these cookies will be in aggregate form. “In aggregate form” means that the cookies and tracking systems are no longer associated with the individual but with the browsing; therefore, nobody can associate your name with the pages or websites that you visit.

In addition, important information such as your IP address is “anonymised” for your further peace of mind, as explained below.

On our website, Google Analytics has used the code “gat.anonymizeIp();“ to guarantee anonymised identification of IP addresses (known as IP Masking).

Your IP address (the number assigned to your computer by your internet services provider) is abbreviated and thus anonymised – at our initiative - by Google within European Union Member States or in other States that are party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. For this reason, the usage profiles created by Google Analytics are “anonymised”, making it impossible to trace the actual user. The full IP address is only sent to a Google server and abbreviated there in particular cases.

Your anonymised IP address sent by your browser for Google Analytics is not combined with other data in Google's possession. Any data transmission to third parties by Google may only occur due to legal requirements or for data processing done on behalf of third parties. In no case will Google group your personal data with other data collected by Google.

Google adheres to the personal data principles of the “US Safe Harbor” agreement and is registered to “Safe Harbor”, a United States Department of Commerce programme.

By using our website you consent to the processing of the relevant data by Google Analytics, together with the data processing methods and purposes described above.
